A hero has left us…

…left us with a beautiful legacy of friendship and heart-filled scholarship 

Twice, Curt Bench led conversations for Faith Again. Each evening was tremendously rewarding. Not just for his insights and scholarship, but how he delivered his insights with wit and warmth. He was a genuine Christian. This was best evidenced in a recent Faith Again where he and Brent Metcalfe discussed their long running friendship despite deep differences in how they viewed and believed in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

I, and so many others, will miss Curt greatly. I am grateful for how much good he did while alive and that his son Chris will carry on the important work of his bookstore. I encourage all of us to show our love and support for his family and his life by supporting Benchmark Books.
