Can Seeing More in Common Be Politically Correct?

Just what do we have in common with one another?

 

This is a good time as any to remind ourselves that if our species shares more than 99% of our DNA with other species, then surely we must have even more in common with our own species.

But we often misjudge the intentions, hopes, and beliefs of each other and unwittingly create walls and fear. A recent article in the Atlantic highlights a new study done by More in Common which reveals many of our wrong assumptions. Take a look.
