A new annual conversation at the Sunstone Symposium
The Sunstone Symposium is well underway as of Wed, July 25. A number of our members/past discussion leaders are presenting, including a perennial favorite, Bob Rees.
“In his essay ‘Radiant Mormonism,’ Richard Bushman argues that Latter-day Saints have a disproportionate influence for good in the world. He cites examples in scholarship, education, philanthropy, politics, humanitarian service, and the arts, but feels the influence is much broader. This session begins a series of annual interviews with Latter-day Saints who are part of this radiance.” This interview, conducted by Bob, will be with Erika Munson; Grethe Peterson, and Jay Griffith.
This session (just one of many interesting sessions) will go from 2-3:30 pm, Saturday, July 28. Room 300 B at the Mountain America Expo Center, 9575 S State Street in Sandy, UT
