Seeking people of difference
Living Room Conversations and Utah Village Square have been invited to collaborate with the national StoryCorps initiative called One Small Step. We are excited about this possibility and need YOU!
The idea behind the project is to bring two people, who hold differing views, to have a StoryCorps-style conversation.
One Small Step is unique from traditional StoryCorps conversations because the stories shared will be between people who do not know each other well and yet share their life stories and how those have shaped their views.
Here is an example of a conversation between a father and daughter, which was aired on NPR. And here is the StoryCorps podcast showcasing other recordings.
